Seeing the Pandemic in a different way

People need to slow down and take a rest.

Mother Earth needs to rest as well.

The Pandemic has caused everyone to rest!

The Pandemic has made everyone creative and innovative!

It's over a year since the Pandemic has hit the world and everyone has their own story to tell. Some are coping with it, some are not. Some are struggling while others find an opportunity. Life has changed because of the Pandemic and that the new normal is setting up. In the academe, such change follows the white-water rapids metaphor. Everyone is in confusion as to how we can overcome this crisis. The change was so fast and we don't know when we can adapt.

Now, online learning is no longer an alternative but a must. Even our seasoned professors will have to adjust to the new normal. We all both need to adjust in whatever circumstance we are into. As what Charles Darwin said "only the fittest survives".

We cannot let this COVID-19 hinder us from our academic journey. Good thing, Google Meet, Zoom, Facebook Live, Youtube and many other platforms have become available to cater the needs of our students. For a short period of time, we can let them know that we understand their situation and that they should understand ours too.

However, we all have different stance over the matter. When this happen, exercise maximum tolerance and show that you care. For the world is already in deep **** that we only have each other to lessen the burden. Take this challenging times as an opportunity to showcase our resistance and adaptability, flexibility and survivability.
